Welcome Page
Hi Everybody,
it is time to ask the most important question of the week:
How do you like our main page at Touchmods.net (and .org)?
We did our best to have the Wiki ready 4U at beginning of April, so pls do not hesitate to use it. The same holds for the IRC: Thomas did set it up for all of us back in Dec.2007! At the time of the first VoIP release there used to be 50+ ppl chatting online. If the new Siphon will be released, pls go there and use it: help each other with the setup problems and account questions.
Also, we do have a Forum installed since some days but we were not sure if it is needed or not. This is the reason why there is no link to the forum from the main page. Still, if you think it is useful and that you could contribute, feel free to register at http://wiki.touchmods.net/drupal5/. Once we see that there is a use of the forum, we will link it from the main pages, beside the IRC, Blog, CodeRepository, etc.
So, lets’ come together on the wiki/irc/forum, while waiting excited for the new Siphon.

HI guys. Long time no talk. Sorry, I needed a break from the computer for a bit.
Anyway. The Welcome page looks great. I really think it looks nice and also, I really think the forum could work great as well.
I just wanted to let you know that you guys are doing great.

Touchmods: like the look of the homepage very much, but a couple of things strike me :
1. “Welcome to Touchmods” is better English. Unless that was deliberate :o)
2. The text links look scrappy, particularly because of the text-decoration on them. A better look might be to hide the text, and make the images the links with the text (minus underlining) appearing onMouseover ?

hi guys, thanks for the feedback and for the french - dutch -german translations.. they are online, although some of them is not linked, as the main page still exist only in 4 languages, and : the [[nl:mainPage]] trick does not seem to create a LAnguage link on the left side of the page.. we will try to find the fix for this… bis dann: ciao!

Very pretty! But I agree — change it to “Welcome to Touchmods.” And get rid of the extra “Welcome” at the top.

Love the idea background and link only thing is I like Welcome to Touchmods better lol. Just an idea otherwise great keep up the good work
